BAM!BAM!BAM! *Headshot*

No, I'm not talking about an action-packed video game. Or am I? Read on to find out.

By now, you've probably have guessed that I've a) made it to New York, b) gotten my hands on my uncle's computer, and c) am staying home while my family embarks on great adventures exploring the city?

Didn't expect that one, did you? Try thinking of some reasons why I'm sitting here, lonely and abandoned while I recap the 11 hour trip. 11 hours. Of pure non-stop torture. If you think I'm exaggerating, I'm not. I love my family and all, but 11 hours of 'sing-alongs,' little brother shoving his stinky feet in your face, and grandpa snoring is not that fun.

That pretty much summed it all up. Okay, okay. There were some parts of the trip that weren't that bad, like when everybody was asleep (except my father, who was driving). And the ginormous Roy Rogers meal. Mmmm.
And there was the highlight, when my grandpa got his coat stuck in the minivan door, and so he opened the door while we were going about 120 km/h on the highway. It felt pretty awesome and action-movie-ish, after my brother and I got over the screeching wind and 120 km/h part.

Speaking of action movies, that's what I was doing all morning, and most of the afternoon. You see, my foot still hasn't healed from the last treatment (see Sadistic Doctor), and so I'm not able to walk long distance very well. And so, instead of visiting the NYPD museum with my awesome cousin (I really wanted to, if you can't tell!), I stayed home alone doing the next best thing.

Meaning a triple dose of Ocean's 13, Bad Boys, and Bad Boys II. I wanted to watch the Bourne Ultimatum, but I was getting hungry, so I went downstairs shortly after to make some instant noodles.

And I also watched a couple episodes of Doctor Who. Sci-fi is the best. After action flicks, of course. Heh. Shania, if you're reading this, you're right. Doctor Who ROCKS. My favourite Doctor is definitely David Tennant. Anybody else watch DW? Who are your favourite Doctors?

Aside from all the television, I spent about an hour trying to figure out Shimmer (Christopher Boscole) by ear on my cousin's piano. It was quite a challenge, as I'm not perfect-pitched, and I tend to be more of a sight-reading piano player.

Next, because I felt like such a lazy bum, I proceeded to do 400 sit-ups and lifted some weights. Sound macho? LOOOL. No way, I took a million breaks in between each set of 100 sit-ups, and the weights were only three kilograms. (I can practically hear you screaming "soft!")

Anyhow, it's Christmas Eve, so I'm pretty excited. I've thought and thought about it, and I've made my decision. Santa, if you're reading this on your laptop, blackberry, or iPhone, all I want for Christmas is for my foot to fully heal. So I can properly go shopping on the 26th. Please. :)

*Feels bad for not doing anything productive yesterday* I know JUST the solution! It's been a week in, so let's see what I've done with my to-do list!

Grace's Updated Holiday To-Do Lis

1. Update this blog a couple of times over the break, when she has the time. Possible topics include: her Christmas wish list, Hannah's mysterious gift, the Sadistic doctor, adventures with scary kid cousin in NYC.

2. Organize, then study with Computers, Geography, and French binders.

3. Practice the flute.

4. Complete church confirmation homework.

5. Finish camp report for the Duke of Edinburg award (Scouts)

6. Read French book, write a summary

7. Write opinions top 5 list for January issue of Panther Press.

8. Get through her winter reading list: Monkeyface Chronicles, Artemis Fowl: The Atlantis Complex, Charlie Saint Cloud.

9. Read as much Dramione, and watch as much Kdrama as humanly possible.

10. Continue to sleep a lot over the break. Preferably 10 hours or more each night (or day!)

11. Eat as many chocolates, and general Christmas candy as she can, without getting sick.

12. Clean room, and the house if she has the time.

13. Somehow get Santa to give her everything on her wish list.

14. Invite friends over to house to fool around and get yelled at by grandparents.

15. Go tobogganing down the stairs.

16. Go tobogganing down the stairs again, if she survives the first time.

Wow. Seems like I actually got quite a bit done this holiday, eh? There's still the church homework to do (but the next class is in February), the DEA, a couple of others. I'll take the next week and see what I can do. In the meantime, more action movies for me!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, don't forget to leave cookies and milk out for Santa! Or some vodka. ;)

~'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a Hopping Grass!~

P.S. For some holiday-inspired reading, head on over to GU! My latest mini-Dramione is there. ;)
