2/2! DUNDUNDUN!

Did that look like some random string of text to you? Well, first off...

GUNG HAY FAT CHOY! 新年快樂! All of that good stuff.

Yep, it's Chinese New Year! In Asia of course (cough, 12 hours ahead). Which is why my parents were up at the crack of dawn calling all our relatives and wishing them Happy New Year. Ehhhhh. Too bad they weren't as eager to give me my lucky money. Oh well!

Re: the absurd title, it's the doomsday for the old Grace. The superstitious one who was terrified of all things "2." But that's the old Grace. The new one says that today can go stuff itself in a rusty can. :)

So guess what? On top of being an epic Chinese holiday, it's also the first-ever official TDSB-mandated snow day! I'm not that excited, because I didn't have to go to school anyway (PA day). Instead, I'm so HAPPILY stuck at home with my brother and mother. It's not that bad, if you don't mind a boy who's convinced he's the next James Bond meets The Terminator bursting in your room every five minutes without knocking. I guess I just can't have everything.

What am I doing now? Hm. Listening to Jesse McCartney (win!) and finishing up my 8th (out of 10) White Pine book.

How is everybody else spending their snow days? Does anybody else even HAVE snow days?

The Grass.

P.S. Why has it been so quiet lately? :(
P.P.S. UPDATE: Wow. My head is really failing apparently, it's Wednesday today... not Tuesday. D;

  1. No worries, people are still reading your blog, as long as you keep it up!

    The sudden snowfall meant a lot of shoveling. Right now, there is a 6 foot white pyramid in front of my door.
