Wow. Look, it's already the end of the first semester! I must say, time passed by really quickly. We've learned so much since the beginning of school. Just think, back in September, I thought Turing was a species of fish. Seriously. I later found out that I was thinking of herring, but still.
I can't help feeling a little sad, because I've had a lot of fun in my first four courses. No matter how loud and obnoxious the boys in the back of my French class were, we had a great time watching them get yelled at/teased by Mme.
Geography was always nice, other than the fact that I was so gullible, and got tricked by Ms. Geography Teacher so much. Music was unforgettable, with Mr. Awesome Music Teacher's constant (and sometimes terrible) jokes. And I mustn't forget about the wonderful movies, and of course, poker talk. As a matter of fact, we finished Fiddler on the Roof today, and the ending combined with the fact that it was our last class made me feel really sad.
And last but not least, computer studies! There is no competition for the most stressful course this semester. However, there is no other course where I truly learned as much. From the gruelling cursive writing, to the sometimes frustrating programming, every moment was fully spent developing new skills. I'm going to miss hearing Mr. Arkin's (kind of nerdy but entertaining nonetheless) programming jokes.
This blog owes its existence to computer studies. Don't worry, though. I will try my best next semester to keep it up. I'll post as often as possible, but probably not everyday. Trust me, it's really hard to get me shut up, so you won't be getting rid of me any time soon.
It's time to really get my head in exam-studying mode. I'll be back before you know it. Good luck to everybody on your exams! I'm sure that you'l all do great. Remember: let's give Mr. Arkin three classes of perfect ICS2O exams to make his marking easier.
A slightly teary Grass.
P.S. For Hunger Games fans, check out Rue's Song. Isn't it beautiful?
P.P.S. To get you through a week without me, (haha, :P) read these. Simplicity is best, no?
Yup, it has been quite a experience.
ReplyDeleteTo help you in your studies, has your french teacher given you the format of the exam? My french teacher has.
Zelin
Yeah, she has. The French exam doesn't sound too hard, thankfully. It's one of my better subjects, but I had better brush up on the vocabulary, which I think I've almost completely forgotten already... D;
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna miss you Gracer!!! Just remember the fact that you are a human stationary next time...If there is a next time! (sob)
ReplyDeleteHaha. Overly emotional much? I'll miss you too, crazy Arthi. :P Our lockers are still beside each others', and we still have to smell the stinky smell. :)
