Okay, so today was another relaxing and fun day at school. We watched Home Alone in geography, a classic. We also finished up French presentations, and had party in music.

Actually, Mr. Awesome Music Teacher held a poker game for the students who knew how to play, and surprisingly, he didn't win! He was beaten by Yao (pronounced YOW!). But SHHHHHHHH! about the game. I'm not sure if it's what teachers should be holding in their classes... We continued working on some pseudo-animations in CS. I say pseudo, because we aren't really creating animations, more like graphics that are manipulated to seem like they are moving. Carol and I worked together on fixing up the bouncing ball program, so that should be perfect now. I also worked on Wipe and Wipe 2.0. Allow me to explain. They are programs that have to do with "moving" objects around the edges of run windows. The most primitive program we were to work on consisted of a "snake" effect around the border. We gradually worked to develop a flickering rectangle that travelled around the border, then added the location of the objects displayed on the screen (row, column format).

I'll work on perfecting those programs a little later. I've got yet another Christmas party at 7 pm, and I'm very excited about the Secret Santa exchange we will be doing! Speaking of being excited, boy, am I excited about Hannah's present! She told me that she wrote me a Christmas story... I'm not sure if I should be worried or not... We'll find out soon enough!
