Okay. Now for the fun...
Ladies and Gentlemen, put your hands together for the grand opening of "The Hopping Grass," the refurbished version of my blog! I've been meaning to give it a complete makeover, and I wasn't very satisfied with the name, so I completely changed it all! Yay! Take a guess as to why I named it "The Hopping Grass." Be creative! Teehee. Tell me if you like it, guys.
Alright, so that being said, Mr. Arkin hasn't opened back up the servers yet, so any readers that didn't press the *follow* button won't be able to find this page. If you know anybody who is ripping their hair out and suffering from Grace-post-withdrawal (yeah, right), kindly inform them about the change of url.
Doesn't it seem like I am forgetting something really important? Oh, it couldn't be that today was the last day of school, couldn't it? No, that's too obvious.
WAIT, IT IS! -insert astonished pseudo-gasp here-

Yes, yes. You read right. It was the L-A-S-T of school of 2010! I didn't attend any classes today, as I was helping set up for the grade 9 band performance. This meant that I missed the single most irreplaceable-and-important-and-nosebleed-inducingly-awesome class. *Gulp* Computers. *Slaps self, howls in agony, bows head in shame*
Well SORRY, I didn't intend to be so over-dramatic. It's all the Christmas candy, I tell you. I got quite a few, from Rebecca, Alin, and quite a few others. Anyhow, each class was 30 minutes, and I missed every single one, except for about ten minutes of geography, where I got to finish Home Alone.
The holiday assembly started promptly at 11:20, and was quite a success. With the exception of our band of course...what we pulled off today was quite...let's just say that I completely missed my cue to come in for one of the pieces, and came in one bar late! The rest of the assembly was terrific, though. With dancing, singing, musical instrument playing, and even rapping, the talents of many students were showcased, and tons of holiday cheer was felt by everyone as well.
The most interesting part were the teacher performances, with the highlight of a teacher's rendition of a classic carol. It was "The 12 Days of Christmas," rewritten into, "The 12 days of Vic Park," and included various funny lyrics involving detentions and general jokes about students driving teachers crazy.
Before this post becomes a book, I will mention one last thing; one of the singing performances, "My Grown-up Christmas List," has inspired me to make my own Christmas wish-list. I'll be posting that tomorrow.
Yep, I will be posting a few more times during the break *if* I feel like it! So don't forget to check back for some updates.
Grace
P.S. I'll tell you guys all about today's Sadistic Doctor appointment, and Hannah's Christmas gift as well. Just wait. Until tomorrow!
