Terrific Tuesday!

Now THAT'S something you don't hear everyday from me. If you know me well, you'd know that I hate Tuesdays, and anything that stems from the number 2 in general...for reasons which best should not be disclosed on the live internet.

However, today has been a truly wonderful day for me, on the most part. Which is a rarity in itself, since I'm pretty much a bearer of bad luck wherever I go.

Let's start at the beginning. This Tuesday started out like any other Tuesday; I got to school (super-early, even though it was a late start day) and promptly began looking for Mr. Awesome Music Teacher in order to work on an assignment that was due later in the day. Being a Tuesday, I wasn't that surprised when I couldn't find him, and so I set out for the promised hot chocolate the RAK (Random Acts Of Kindness) club was offering. I wasn't that surprised either when I found out it was actually being offered tomorrow, when I wouldn't be at school due to Bring Your Kids To Work day. Typical Tuesday, I thought.

Computer class was a nice, easy lesson on case statements, which I breezed through, and you would have breezed through too if you'd done your homework properly last night. Heh.

I was pretty worried for French, because I knew we were getting our tests back. I somehow had managed to convince my inner self (LOOOOOL, how yoga and meditation-ish of me to use that phrase) that I'd screwed up. Combined with the fact that it was a Tuesday, I was prepared for the worst...However, I managed to get a perfect mark, which left me feeling temporarily elated.

Oddly enough, my streak of luck carried through to music class, where a music class classmate and I managed to quickly finish up the assignment we couldn't work on this morning. I didn't think it was that great, but when we played our finished product, Mr. Awesome Music Teacher was clearly impressed, and gave us a stellar mark of 11/10.

Hohoho. You just got flashed with a baby's bottom.
By last period, geography, I was throughly convinced that God had somehow confused Tuesdays with some other day of the week. I kept anticipating some kind of bad thing to happen, but the day passed with everything going as smooth as a baby's bottom.

I just can't shake the feeling that tomorrow will be a very interesting day. Maybe my terrorizing Tuesday was delayed until tomorrow?

We'll see. And I'll keep you posted on whatever I do tomorrow.
