Well, you read the title, so you should know that we got our superpower assignment mark back today. And um...let's just say while I didn't fail, I didn't do as great as I had expected. I've looked over the comments Mr. Arkin made, and I understand what I did incorrectly, so I won't make the same mistakes next time.
However, I think something went wrong with the peer editing page I saved for Mahak, whose assignment I peer-edited. Even though I had done everything correctly, and the page had rendered previously, the file was overwritten, and so my peer evaluation of her page never showed up. This means I will not receive a mark for peer editing! :( I guess I will just have to do really well next time, or maybe talk to Mr. Arkin about what I can do to make it up.
Also, I will be clearing up a question regarding my mark, because I feel I have lost 6% in error!
All this talk about marks is giving me a headache. I'm already in a bit of a dilemma over another injury which I got checked out by a doctor today. It's a little more serious than I had thought, and I'l tell you more about it some other time.
Maybe my luck is changing. For some reasons, Tuesdays don't seem to be a curse anymore, while the last 4 Wednesdays have been nightmares. Then again, I may just be a little too superstitious. D;
Tomorrow, I'm going on a geography trip! Which we're leaving at 7: 30 for. Meaning I'll have to get up at 5 am tomorrow, and leave the house at 6 am. And that means I'll have to go to sleep extra early. And that I'll miss CS, Music, and French tomorrow. I'm counting on you guys to post the homework!
And now I must leave to go to taekwondo. With an infected foot. that hurts like crazy.
What a wonderful Wednesday.
Woeful Grace. :(
P.S. I know I'm not supposed to write in fragments, but I've had a terrible day, let me be.
Funny, I had the same kind of thing, too.
ReplyDeleteTuesdays were pretty good (only like, minor, physical bad luck,) while Wednesdays sucked. A lot. Like, trampled-by-elephants-into-the-mud-and-left-to-asphyxiate bad.
Okay, no, they weren't. At least, not the part about the elephants.
Ha,ha, no, I'm still kidding.
