Hey guys, hope your weekends were fun and relaxing. I know mine sure was (watching kdrama, a very good one at that: Mischievous Kiss ).
Anyways, after the weekend returns reality. and the reality for me was a very tiring Monday, as I had to wake up at 6:30 am again. But I was, in a way, glad to be reunited with my friends for another fun! (Can you not sense my excitement?) day of learning. Sigh.
Sorry to sound so whiny. But try waking up at 6:30 on a regular basis. You'll soon catch my drift. :) So. Getting to the point. We covered a handful of new terms in today's CS class, to add to our glossaries. Also, we were assigned 2 simple tasks: to look up the definitions for “CRT” and “DVD.”
Being the enemy to procrastinators everywhere, I couldn't help but run upstairs to start on my homework as soon as I got home. And so, here I am, sitting in front of my computer, working on my daily blog, and definitions. Without any further ado, I present to you A Step-by-step Guide to How Grace Found the Definitions of DVD and CRT. Phew, that was a long title.
Step 1: Grace decided to be lazy and just typed in the term “CRT” in the Google searchbar.
Step 2: She then clicked “I'm Feeling Lucky,” because that’s how she felt at the moment. And soon after (like, less than one second after) she was lead to a very helpful definitiona dn diagram, which you can read for yourself here.
Step 3: She later remembered the handy site that she used for her formal definitions on her CS class glossary, and visited this site for a more simplistic and understandable definition.
Step 4: Finding the second site a lot easier to comprehend, she just looked up “DVD” there as well.
And voila! Homework completed, blog post completed. Now to slave on updating my Glossary page...
I must bid thee farewell, until tomorrow, faithful readers! :)
A Very Melodramatic Grace.
