Gimme a V-I-C-T-O-R-Y!

What does that spell? VICTORY! And victory today's class was. Because I was in a morning class, we had a supply teacher while Mr. Arkin was away today. And as soon as class started, we all quickly began working on getting our mirrors live on the web. Being one of the luckier ones, I actually finished successfully uploading my superhero's assignment on the web. Therefore, I had the rest of today's CS class to figure out some quirks, and help out some of my friends.

I was VERY pleased with my progress today, but as of now, I still have 2 (gulp!) questions:

1. I have realized that not all fonts are downloaded on all computers. Is there a way to make sure your font stays the same? Or should I just continue using web safe fonts that every system have automatically downloaded?

2. Since it is possible to delete somebody else's files while uploading via filezilla (somebody accidentally deleted my folder after I uploaded it), is there any way to prevent access to other peoples' folders?

I hope to answer these questions soon, hopefully by next class. But otherwise, today was a very nice day in terms of CS. And to see the product of all my hard work, click here.

As for the rest of the day in general...I can't say the same. First of all, it was a Tuesday. Tuesdays and anything 2 related or with the "too" sound generally tend to be unlucky for me. As for why, well...you'll just have to find out some other time.

Before you start yelling at me for forgetting this, I just wanted to introduce...

(drumroll please)

Seamonkey! Which is this super-awesome program that helps people beginning to use html. basically, you can insert images, change colours, and create table like in Microsoft word in one side of the program...while on the window beside it, everything you do becomes html. On top of that, it also is a browser, so you can look at the source codes of websites for further examples.

Instead of searching up elements and tags, you can just use this simple and very helpful program. The link for more information and how to download it can be found here.
I hope it helps!

And before I go to eat, I just wanted to say, that if I could meet anybody from a book, I would definitely choose DRACO MALFOY. Or maybe JACE WAYLAND. I'll have to make my mind up about that.

Gracing you with my blog post,
Grace

(That WAS lame, wasn't it? D;)
