Since I have nothing super-special going on this momentous day, have some interesting facts* about the number:
1. Apparently, 100 people choke to death on ball-point pens on average every year. I don't even.
2. And 100 men are diagnosed with breast cancer. Don't ask?
3. A "jiffy" is the unit of time for 1/100th of a second. Useful . . . when again?
4. An ant can lift 100 times its own weight. Too bad we weigh more than that.
5. A centenarian is what one who lives to 100 is called. This one's pretty cool. I mean, useless.
6. One tablespoon of peanut butter has 100 calories. Still eating it.
7. 100 is the ambulance and fire-fighter telephone number in Belgium. I should remember that.
Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd . . . that's all I have time to rip off the internet today!
What's that? You were expecting 100 facts? No way. Maybe if school ceases to exist or they announce that we're all going to die in the next 48 hours or something. Wait, no. Nevermind.
*No reliable sources for any of these facts. Repeat them at your own risk of being questioned/proven wrong/ridiculed.
