1. Seventeen

In the early hours of January 7, 2013, I officially turned 17.

With some inspiration from various creative souls, today I begin my own 365 project.

I woke up to a full on panic attack upon opening my eyes this morning. I realized that I have precisely one year until I turn 18, which is, to refresh anyone who does not realize the significance of the number, the age of adulthood.

I am not ready for this. I don't want to grow up. But I can't stay a kid forever.

In an effort to capture the last days of my fleeting childhood, I will post a picture every day for the next 365 days, documenting a moment in time that I want to remember. Rain or shine, exam season or vacation season, I'll strive to follow through.

Let the countdown begin.
