It wasn't too long (in fact, it was probably half an ) ago when It happened. After four weeks of excuses and laziness, my resolve finally put its metaphorical foot down, and said that it was time to write a blog post.
So here I am. Now, because I am OCD by nature, and perfectionist by trade (being an overachieving Giftee and iBeer and whatnot), I can't possibly just skip past the last month's worth of events like nothing happened at all.
Still, I appreciate that my imaginary readers do have lives, thus don't have large quantities of free time at their disposal to plow through detailed descriptions of my day-to-day life.
And so, a solution came to me. Four weeks, four haikus. 17 syllables per week and 68 syllables in total. Challenge accepted.
Week One (August 26 - September 1)
Drove down to the States
Last-minute cruise vacation
Missed the hurricane (phew!)
Week Two (September 2 - 8)
Bahaman sun bronzed
Return to school was daunting
So begins the end
Week Three (September 9 - 15)
Horrifying list
Of things to do before sleep
Every single night
Week Three (September 16 - 22)
Teachers denied rights
By Liberal government
What about our clubs?
Well, that's it. You're all caught up.
Hope fully this teaches me to stop putting blogging off and make time to write something more frequently next time.
Ciao,
THE HOPPING GRASS
