"Calamity is the perfect glass wherein we truly see and know ourselves." -William Davenant

About a month and a half ago, I wrote a piece on the death of somebody I knew. It was entitled "Tribute", and some of you may be wondering what happened to the post.
Well, here's what happened. I received a message informing me that someone had found what I wrote to be insensitive and disrespectful. Being my rash self, I was quite offended at first. After all, who were they to stop me from speaking my mind? I mean, creative freedom and whatnot!
When I finally calmed down and re-read my post, I started to realize exactly how hurtful some of the things I wrote must have been. The post has been removed, and here is the long-overdue apology.
To anyone I upset, intentionally or unintentionally, I am sincerely regretful for causing any pain or anger through what I wrote. It was wrong and selfish of me to publicly express myself without thinking about how my words would be interpreted. I cannot take them back, and this may not be read, but please know that I truly mean it when I say that I'm sorry.

About time you posted again; it is very nice to have you back. The revolutionary redesign seems great, though it would be nice if your background image would fit the screen.
ReplyDeleteAlong with that, I was expecting a more cheerful post from you. After all, it is Christmas. However, how nice of you to take a objective approach towards this sensitive topic.
Anyhow, how is your Christmas break going? What gifts have you received?

Also, change the comment font please: it is slightly... difficult to read.
