It's been a week since last Sunday, which means it's time for...another post!
The other day, as I stood in line at Walmart, I noticed an array of Kinder Surprise eggs on the shelf, all ready to be purchased by embarrassed parents giving in to spoiled whiny kids on the verge of tears at Easter, when a light-bulb when on in my head.
Wouldn't it be so cool if they made Kinder Matryoshkas? Like the russian dolls with creepy faces that stare deep into your soul, except chocolafied. They would taste amazing, and be so fun to open! I'd buy them for sure.
Right. So other than that random idea from who knows where, I do have a whole slew of other random things that have been lingering in my head, potential seeds for future blog posts. Since I am not going to be using them any time soon, I'll be doing them justice with a couple of blurbs. I'll include one or two topics with each post over the next few posts.
This post's blurb...
Don't judge a day by its anthem!
What? you're probably thinking. Allow me to explain. Some people read horoscopes, others rely on instinct. I know it sounds silly, but I judge how my day is going to go by the national anthem that plays in the morning! One semester, the music teacher assigned students to use GarageBand to mix different versions of the Canadian anthem, serving two purposes at once: generating a mark for them, and providing our school with a plethora of different anthems to play.
Naturally, creativity in the form of different instruments and genres fuel the different selections. Each anthem played so far, has accurately predicted how my day ends up going! Whether boring, exciting, or downright terrible, the day goes like the anthem. In fact, there's this one really annoying anthem which has a messed up tempo that drastically slows down and speeds up throughout, and when I hear it, I know impending doom is in the air.
I may be reading into things too much, but who knows? Maybe the cosmos is sending us life-changing messages through the national anthem. It's a good reason to stay quiet during the anthem! Maybe we should we be quiet and listen to the announcements next!

Not much more to share! Anyone watching the Junos tonight? I'm a bit torn on whether or not I should. Should I risk being scarred for life by Bieber's face? Just kidding. :P
My posts are getting shorter and shorter. But the flame will NOT go out! [said with GUSTO]
Hasta la vista!

P.S. Spring cleaning is in da house! Well, my house, anyway. Joy.
