I'm BACK! [eye-em bok]

That was supposed to have come off as "Terminator-like." I think I failed.

Happy New Year!

Aww, she's back! Why?

I can hear you. -.-" And yes, I'm back. We arrived safely home yesterday, as a matter of fact. I got up super early today, as I was excited about the mini-back-to-school. The holidays are fun, but after a while, I find there's nothing to do.

It was a pretty smooth day, other than carrying all my heavy books back this morning. We began culminating activities in two subjects--music and computer studies. WHAT? WHAT's A COW-MINATE?

Shhhh! No need to yell. Culminating activities are projects in each subject that we have to complete at the end of each semester. They are used to evaluate what we have learned, and how well we can apply it.

The music CA is pretty interesting, and I'll tell you more some other time. I must focus on the computers CA first, as this is a computer studies blog! Okay, so there are two parts to the CSCA (figure that one out on your own). The first is a single web-page with an article we chose. It has to be from one of the categories provided by Mr. Arkin, and we have to get it approved as well.

It should be relatively simple, but I must remember to keep my web-page looking  professional. I'll get started on researching my topic (still a secret! :) as soon as I finish my geography homework. So that's what we spent today's lesson doing--browsing through and carefully selecting our CA part 1 topics. Ooooh. I like the sound of that. CAP 1. It's got a nice ring to it.

Sorry, I really need to get working, so this post will end... now.

P. S. Random fact about today: we watched The Simpsons in geography class. Hilarious.
P. P. S. Listen to Joshua Radin. He's incredible.

  1. Do you still have exams at the end of the month on top of your CA's?
