Quiet Querists

I am very pleased to announce that we are now officially 'pro', because we have learnt how to use procedures! Haha. Get it? Procedures. No? Not funny? Fine.

Class was pretty quiet today, as a couple of students were away at a swim meet, including one notoriously loud kid, whose name I will not mention. *cough*Kevin*cough* :) It was nice, because we had more time to thoroughly go through any questions that we had from yesterday's homework.

Other than the discussion, we formed study groups with 3 people of different levels in preparation for the upcoming unit test. I have this feeling that it will be on Monday, which isn't very good. If my guess is correct, I'll have three unit tests on Monday : geography, French, and computer studies! It's a 3-in-one deal that I would rather not have. The only thing I can do now is hit the books!

Before that, I'll have to survive through two more weeks of Christmas parties (I'm not complaining), Christmas shopping for less fortunate families, taekwondo, Girl Guides, and some volunteer work. I'll make it through if I just keep thinking : soon  enough, I'll be in New York visiting my cousin, and browsing the humongous libraries and book stores! Sigh. Books are so much cheaper in the States.

To think that this time last year, I was still cramming for Music History II. It seems only yesterday that I was in grade 8. Wow, I sound so nostalgic. Anyhow, ending this post on a happy note, (well, for me at least), it's about a month until my birthday! I won't tell you the exact day, but here's a hint: I love the National Treasure movie franchise.
