The Sadistic Doctor

Hi Doctor. This is my daughter Grace, and we were recommended to come to you by Doctor Tung.
Hi, I'm Doctor Lee. I understand you've been having foot pain?
Ye-
It looks like a wart. Take off your shoes, and lie face down. [gets alcohol wipe, cleans foot, gets knife]
Owwww, OWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!
[laughs humorlessly] Okay, now that I've ripped the skin off your foot, we're going to start the liquid nitrogen treatment. It's very cold, and it might sting a bit, okay?
Oka-OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!
By the way, doctor, Grace takes taekwondo lessons, so will she be able to attend the lessons?
Yes. That should be fine. Great. [Yes, now none of the money I paid for the lessons will go to waste. Who cares about my daughter's foot, MWAHAHAHAHA!]
Okay. Let's take a look at your right foot, I think that might be a wart. Let's spray it too just in case.
[tears in eye] Wha-OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!
You do taekwondo, so this shouldn't be painful. Stop being so soft.
OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!
Fine, fine. That will be all for today. You need to come back for this treatment 4-8 times, and go buy this prescription. [writes down that each treatment was only a few seconds, and that all treatments were responded with pain]
Thanks doctor! [nudges me]
Yea...thanks. [Owieowieowieowie]
[Non-committal grunt]

As some of you may know, I missed the last 15 minutes of geography today. I've been having foot pains ever since I stepped on a pin back in June, and it has been a great burden for me. I haven't been able to jog, go swimming, play volleyball, do taekwondo, or partake in any of the sports I love in general. It's been a pain in the foot, literally and figuratively. Especially since I now have problems even walking up and down the stairs.

I was quite relieved for today's appointment, until I met the doctor. He was the most sarcastic, unsympathetic, bad humored, inhumane, and sadistic person I've ever met. Okay, I may have exaggerated a BIT in the above description, but what happened at the appointment was pretty close. So if you're reading this Dr. Lee, I truly mean what I say. If you don't adjust your attitude, some fed up patient will sue you someday.

Well. That was my eventful afternoon.  I have to get studying for Geo, French, and Computer Studies unit tests now.

Hmm. While we're at it, I might as well list the other things I have to do: study for TKD black belt exam, finish the report of the D of E award for scouts, unpack the camping gear, practice the Air by good old JSB for music, study up for the Model UN G20 conference, prepare notes for Communion lesson (I'm Catholic), confirm the volunteering this Saturday at my brother's Chinese school, and eat dinner.

I'd better get started!
Grace, who is now in pain, and stepping on a bag of ice cubes in order to keep the swelling down.
AIEEEEEEEEEEE. Just bumped into the chair leg.
