Now you see them, now you don't

We all became programming super-sleuths today, to try to find out what went wrong to a program we wrote. The program was supposed to display asterisks in 4 corners of a run window, but all of us ended up with less-than-desirable results. It took a while, but finally, an observant member of our class (Andre) figured it out! Turns out, we forgot that once the computer finishes outputting, it automatically moves the cursor to the next line. If we programmed the computer to locate the asterisk at the limit of the run window boundaries, of course the asterisks wouldn't show properly-there wouldn't be enough space!

And so, another mystery was solved by class B. I bet Mr. Arkin was dying to say: It's elementary, dear students.

:) Okay. So before I go take some notes, I've mentioned that I'd be posting homework up here for Mahak, who I hope by now has safely reached India. If you're there already, please comment and tell me how you're doing, Mahak!

Okay, here we go:

Music: No homework. We just listened to some pieces composed by Mr. Gelbloom, and learned about a conductor (of the Boston symphony) called Arthur Fiedler. We didn't watch any more of the movie, because many people (including Carol) were away today for the geography trip.

Geography: We just worked on our projects. You know, the ecozone one? ;D

Computer Studies: You've probably already read my summary of today's class above. Today's homework was to take notes on the variables and input sections under programming in the Education Commons. And update your blog, which will probably be a lot more interesting than mine.

Well, that's it! Hope I helped.
Grace (has gone to watch kdrama updates)

Thank you sooooooooo much for posting homework from all the classes you have with me. I'm actualyl glad that you didn't watch the movie in music, I don't want to miss it! I don't really know what you're talking about for Computer Sciences but oh well. :)and Hey Bonnie! BTW tell Arthi I love her! I love you too Grace, But I love her more. Mwahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

P.S. India is so totally different from what i expected, but I am having fun so far, even though I've only been here for half a day. :s
