Hi, Would You Like to Make A Donation To Scouts Canada?

"..." (walks away) Fine. Ignore me.
"(In Asian accent) No time!" Okay then...
"-Something in a language I totally do not understand-" Um. No comment.

Sorry, sorry, sorry for the late post.

But if you haven't figured it out yet, I was very preoccupied yesterday, volunteering at Apple day, for scouts. Just so all you guys know, all us Scouts, Cadets, and Girl Guides out there don't think standing 3 hours is fun. But we do it, and we try hard to get donations to support our group. So if you don't want to make a donation, that's fine, but don't glare at us, spit 3 centimeters away from us, or complain to us about all the other organizations that have asked you for donations. And most of all, DO NOT tell us your life story! Sure, maybe on another day, we might listen to you, and be entertained, but not when we're trying to get donations, and you just won't [excuse my language] shut up.

Aside from starting on such a bad note, yesterday wasn't all that bad. I think I raised at least $50 as a result of standing outside Rona for 3 hours last night, thanks to all the donations made by you nice people out there. You know who you are. :)

Unfortunately, I missed Degrassi. And the episode with the return of ELI and DECLAN! D;
Oh well.

So I'm glad to hear that Mahak is doing well in India, and I'd just like to tell her that we spent Friday's class just taking notes, and catching everybody up on the homework. At this time, I'd like to tell her that I just realized there is a better place for her to find out her CS homework. And that is the Daily Log! It has all our assignments and what we did during the class posted daily, and you'll probably find it better than my descriptions. But I'll still post a summary of what we did here, just in case you want to know.

Mr. Gelbloom was away, so we got a lot of free practice time in during music, and Geography was another project work period. Not much to catch up on, so don't worry.

When I return on Monday, I will be talking about some very exciting news, concerning elections, bribery (in the form of candy), and lots more. Keep waiting for updates!

Grace.
And my cold is getting lots better, :)

  2. Hey, that thing about Apples?
    I saw a bunch of little kids who were probably scouts, and probably doing the same thing, at the Foody Mart. I was buying a bristol board [not in the Foody Mart] and they came up to me and asked if I would like to buy an apple. I gave them 50 cents, which was as much as I could spare, since I still had to buy the board.

    The apple was delicious.
